Belotero Revive in Seoul

Belotero Revive is one of the skin-quality injectables we offer at Obliv Clinic. Your doctor will explain at consultation whether it is the right fit for your skin and goals.

What Belotero Revive is

Belotero Revive is an injectable used to improve skin quality rather than to change facial shape. It sits in the same family as the skin boosters we use at Obliv Clinic: treatments spread in small amounts across an area to help skin look more hydrated, smoother and fresher. It is not a contouring filler, so it is not used to lift cheeks or build a chin.

Every injectable product has its own formulation and handling, and the details matter. Rather than oversimplify here, your doctor will explain how Belotero Revive compares with other options — such as HA-based boosters, PDRN, exosomes or Rejuran — and why they would or would not choose it for you.

Which layer it targets and who it suits

Our doctors plan using an 8-layer Skin Architecture model — epidermis, upper dermis, full-thickness dermis, lower dermis, subcutaneous fat, fascia, muscle and bone. Skin-quality injectables like Belotero Revive work in the dermis, the layer that governs hydration, texture and elasticity. Deciding the right depth comes first; the product is chosen second.

A skin-quality injectable may suit you if you notice:

  • Skin that feels dry or looks tired even with a good routine
  • A loss of smoothness and natural glow
  • Fine lines that look more obvious when skin is dehydrated
  • Early changes in texture and you want low-downtime care

What happens on the day

A director sees you from the first consultation. Your skin is assessed, and Mark-Vu imaging can be used to analyse pores, pigment, wrinkles, redness and oil–moisture balance. Based on that, the doctor explains whether Belotero Revive, another booster or a combination is the best match. The plan goes into your Skin Library so future visits build on it.

If you go ahead, the skin is cleansed, comfort options are discussed, and the product is injected in small, evenly spaced amounts across the planned area. The appointment is usually short.

Downtime, results and aftercare

As with other skin-quality injectables, small bumps at the injection points, mild redness or occasional light bruising are possible and usually settle within a short time. Many people see skin looking more hydrated in the days after treatment, and maintenance sessions help keep the effect. Your doctor will suggest how many sessions make sense and how far apart. Results vary from person to person.

We follow a barrier-first approach throughout: strengthening the barrier with ceramides and HA, protecting it after treatment, and sending you home with pH-5.5-matched prescribed home care. Daily sun protection supports any skin-quality result.

Often combined with

Skin-quality injectables work well alongside other treatments. They can follow laser or Potenza sessions, sit between energy-lifting treatments, or be paired with collagen injections or collagen stimulators in a longer-term plan.

Is it right for me?

If sagging, hollowing or loss of contour is your main concern, a skin-quality injectable will not address it alone; your doctor will suggest lifting, stimulators or filler instead or as well. If you have a skin condition such as rosacea or active acne, a doctor examines you first and adjusts the plan. Please share allergies, medications and pregnancy status at consultation.

For international visitors

Low downtime makes skin-quality treatments easy to include in a short trip, and they are a popular pre-event choice. The clinic is about 5 minutes on foot from Jonggak and Euljiro 1-ga stations, close to Myeongdong, and you can arrange your visit in English on WhatsApp.

Aftercare in the first few days

Simple habits help skin settle after a skin-quality injectable:

  • Avoid touching or pressing the treated area for 4–6 hours
  • Skip the sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise on the day of treatment
  • Keep make-up off until the doctor says it is fine
  • Use gentle, pH-5.5-matched cleansing and moisturising
  • Apply SPF50+ daily and wear a hat outdoors

If you notice swelling or redness that does not settle, send the team a photo on WhatsApp. For tips on combining this with a trip, see downtime and travel .
