Getting here from Incheon Airport

Landing at Incheon? The clinic is easy to reach by rail: AREX to Seoul Station, then Line 1 two stops to Jonggak, and a short walk to Pagoda Tower.

Where you are heading

Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin is in Pagoda Tower, 93 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu , in the centre of Seoul beside the Cheonggyecheon stream. The Skin & Body Clinic is on the 1st and 2nd floors. Several subway stations are about 5 minutes away on foot, and Myeongdong is a short walk to the south. Most visitors arriving at Incheon International Airport find the rail route the simplest way to reach us or their hotel nearby.

The rail route, step by step

  1. Follow signs for the Airport Railroad (AREX). After you collect your luggage and pass through arrivals, look for signs to the airport railway. AREX connects Incheon Airport with central Seoul.
  2. Ride AREX to Seoul Station. Seoul Station is the end of the line in the city centre, so you cannot miss your stop.
  3. Transfer to Subway Line 1. At Seoul Station, follow signs for Line 1 heading towards City Hall.
  4. Travel two stops to Jonggak. Line 1 runs from Seoul Station via City Hall to Jonggak — just two stops.
  5. Walk to Pagoda Tower. From Jonggak, the clinic is about 5 minutes on foot. Head towards Cheonggyecheon-ro and the stream.

If you prefer, you can also reach the clinic from Euljiro 1-ga on Line 2 or Jongno 3-ga on Lines 1, 3 and 5 — each is about 5 minutes away on foot. Our subway guide covers the options.

Practical tips for the journey

  • Get a transport card. A rechargeable transport card makes subway and bus travel easy. Ask at a convenience store or ticket machine at the airport.
  • Travel light if you can. Seoul's subway has lifts and escalators, but transfers can involve walking. A compact suitcase helps.
  • Avoid the busiest commuting times if you have large luggage.
  • Save the address in Korean and English. Showing it on your phone helps if you need to ask for directions or take a taxi for the last stretch.
  • Keep your phone charged so you can message us on WhatsApp if you are running late.

Taxis and buses

Taxis are available outside arrivals if you have heavy luggage or are travelling late. Journey time varies with traffic, so allow plenty of time. Once you are in the city, buses also stop nearby: the Jongno 2-ga · Samilgyo stop is about 1 minute from the clinic, served by routes including 5000, 5005, G8110, 470, 501, 701, 741 and N37.

Planning your arrival day

Long flights can leave skin dehydrated and you tired, so we usually suggest not booking a significant treatment straight off the plane. Many visitors drop their bags at the hotel, rest, and come in for their consultation the next day. If you would like to come straight from the airport, let us know your flight details and we will plan a realistic appointment time. Our Skin, Body and Scalp clinics are open Mon–Fri 10:00–21:00 and Sat–Sun 10:00–19:00, which gives flexibility for evening and weekend arrivals.

Where to stay nearby

Staying in Myeongdong, around Euljiro, Jongno or near City Hall keeps you within easy reach of the clinic for follow-up visits. Seoul Station is also convenient if you want a direct AREX link back to the airport. See where to stay nearby for more.

Leaving for your flight home

Simply reverse the route: walk to Jonggak, take Line 1 two stops to Seoul Station and transfer to AREX for Incheon. Allow generous time, and avoid booking treatment on your departure day. Read aftercare before flying home before you go.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Booking treatment for the hour you land. Immigration, baggage and the rail journey can all take longer than expected. Leave a generous buffer, or book your consultation for the following day.
  • Getting off at the wrong Line 1 stop. From Seoul Station, City Hall comes first; Jonggak is the second stop.
  • Leaving exits to chance. Large stations have many exits. Check the signs for Cheonggyecheon before you head up to street level.
  • Not telling us about delays. A quick WhatsApp message lets the team adjust your time where possible.

If you are still choosing when to arrive, our guides to how long to stay and weekend appointments may help.
