Where to stay near the clinic
Staying close makes consultations, follow-up checks and quiet recovery evenings much easier. These central neighbourhoods all keep the clinic within easy reach.
Why location matters on a treatment trip
A treatment trip is a little different from a sightseeing holiday. You may want to come back for a check before you fly, rest after an appointment, or avoid long journeys while swelling settles. Staying near the clinic means less time on crowded trains, easier evening appointments and a short trip back to your room afterwards. Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin is at Pagoda Tower, 93 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu — right in central Seoul, with four subway lines and several bus routes close by.
Neighbourhoods to consider
Myeongdong
The most popular choice for international visitors. Myeongdong is a short walk south of the clinic via Euljiro 1-ga, with plenty of hotels, restaurants and skincare shops. It can be busy in the evenings, so ask for a quieter room if you plan early nights after treatment.
Euljiro
Between Myeongdong and the clinic, Euljiro is served by Line 2 at Euljiro 1-ga and Lines 2 and 3 at Euljiro 3-ga, both about 5 minutes on foot from the clinic. A practical, central base.
Jongno and Jonggak
Right on the clinic's doorstep. Jonggak (Line 1) and Jongno 3-ga (Lines 1, 3 and 5) are each about 5 minutes away. Staying here makes it easy to pop in for follow-up checks and to explore the old city.
Cheonggyecheon
The clinic sits beside the Cheonggyecheon stream, a pleasant, calm place for gentle evening walks after treatment — just remember sun protection during the day.
Insadong and Gwanghwamun
Good for visitors who want a more traditional atmosphere, with tea houses, galleries and palaces nearby. Both are close to central Jongno; ask us on WhatsApp for the easiest route from your hotel.
City Hall and Seoul Station
Very convenient for airport journeys. Line 1 runs from Seoul Station via City Hall to Jonggak in two stops, and AREX connects Seoul Station with Incheon Airport. A sensible choice if you are flying soon after treatment.
Dongdaemun
Popular for late-night shopping and well connected by subway. Line 2 links the Dongdaemun area with Euljiro 3-ga and Euljiro 1-ga, both about 5 minutes on foot from the clinic.
What to look for in accommodation
- Easy walking distance to one of the nearby stations: Jonggak, Jongno 3-ga, Euljiro 1-ga or Euljiro 3-ga.
- A quiet room so you can rest well after treatment.
- Air-conditioning and a humidifier, or a room that is not too dry, to keep treated skin comfortable.
- Somewhere to keep skincare cool if you have prescribed products to store.
- Flexible check-out if your flight leaves late in the day.
Planning around treatment
Book your consultation early in your stay so there is time for treatment and any settling before you fly. After injectables, skip sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise on the day, and after laser, plan indoor activities for the brightest part of the day. Our Skin, Body and Scalp clinics are open Mon–Fri 10:00–21:00 and Sat–Sun 10:00–19:00, which makes evening visits easy if you are staying nearby. See planning your treatment trip for a step-by-step guide.
If you are not sure which area suits you, tell us on WhatsApp what you are planning and we will suggest the most convenient options.
Getting from your hotel to the clinic
Wherever you stay, the last few minutes of the journey are the same: head for one of the four nearby stations and walk about 5 minutes to Pagoda Tower. A few pointers make it easier:
- From Myeongdong: walk north via Euljiro 1-ga. Many visitors simply walk the whole way rather than taking the subway.
- From Seoul Station or City Hall: take Line 1 to Jonggak, two stops from Seoul Station.
- From Dongdaemun: take Line 2 towards Euljiro and get off at Euljiro 3-ga or Euljiro 1-ga.
- By bus: the Jongno 2-ga · Samilgyo stop is about a minute from the clinic.
