Combining treatments in one trip
Different concerns often sit in different skin layers, so a combination can make sense. The key is the right order and enough time — here is how we plan it.
Why combinations can make sense
Most faces have more than one thing going on. Someone may notice loosening along the jaw, some hollowing under the cheeks and dull, uneven tone — three changes that start in three different layers. In our 8-layer Skin Architecture model, these sit in the deep support layers, the fat layer and the epidermis respectively. A single device rarely reaches all of them well. A thoughtful combination treats each layer with the right tool, so the overall result looks balanced rather than over-corrected in one place. For visitors, combining also makes good use of a trip to Seoul.
The order matters
When several treatments are planned, sequence affects comfort, safety and results. Some principles the doctors use:
- Barrier first. We reinforce the barrier with ingredients such as ceramides and hyaluronic acid before main treatments and protect it afterwards, so skin is ready for what follows.
- Structure before surface. In a dual-plane approach to volume, structural support just above the bone comes first, then the fat layer, with muscle relaxation last.
- Energy and injectables are timed carefully. Where energy lifting and filler are both planned, the doctor decides which comes first and whether they belong on the same day.
- Skin renewal works in cycles. Laser and texture treatments follow the skin's roughly 28-day renewal cycle, so some are best spread over visits.
Combinations that often work well
Lifting + collagen stimulation
Energy lifting such as Ultherapy PRIME or Thermage combines well with collagen stimulators such as PCL or PLLA. One tightens and remodels through heat; the other encourages your own collagen production over months. See Energy Lifting + Collagen Stimulator .
HIFU + RF
HIFU focuses energy at specific depths, while RF heats the dermis more evenly. Pairing them addresses deep support and skin firmness together. See Ultherapy + Thermage .
Contour + skin quality
Botox or filler for shape can be paired with skin boosters, Rejuran or gentle laser toning for glow and tone, giving a refreshed look without changing your features.
Pigment + barrier support
For melasma or uneven tone, laser options are often paired with skin boosters or Mirajet to support hydration and regeneration in the upper dermis.
Fitting a combination into your trip
- Share your dates early. Tell us how long you are in Seoul when you message on WhatsApp.
- Consult on day one or two. This leaves room for treatment and any settling time.
- Expect the doctor to prioritise. On a short trip, the plan may focus on what matters most and suggest the rest for a later visit.
- Avoid treatment on your last day, especially injectables, threads or deeper resurfacing.
- Plan aftercare. Combined treatments mean combined aftercare: sun protection, no sauna or alcohol on injectable days, and prescribed home care.
When we may suggest doing less
More is not always better. If your skin barrier is irritated, if downtime would clash with your flight, or if a treatment would be better judged after another has settled, the doctor may recommend splitting the plan across visits. Your Skin Library record keeps everything on file so the next visit continues where this one left off. Ask us on WhatsApp for a personalised quote for a combined plan. Results vary from person to person.
Questions to ask about a combined plan
When the doctor proposes more than one treatment, it helps to understand how the pieces fit together before you agree. Useful questions include:
- Which layer is each treatment aimed at, and why is that the right depth for my concern?
- Which parts are essential on this trip, and which could wait for a later visit?
- Will any of these happen on the same day, and how does that change aftercare?
- When should I expect to notice changes from each one — days, weeks or months?
- What should I avoid before my flight home?
Clear answers make it easier to judge the plan and to look after your skin afterwards. If you are still unsure what happens on the day, read what to expect at consultation or see flying after Botox and filler .

Questions about combining treatments
Can I have lifting and filler on the same day?
Sometimes, depending on the treatments and areas involved. The doctor will decide the order and whether they should be on the same day or spaced apart.
Will combining treatments mean more downtime?
It can, depending on what is combined. The doctor will explain the expected downtime for the whole plan and adjust it to fit your travel dates.
How do I get a price for a combined plan?
Ask us on WhatsApp for a personalised quote. The final plan and cost are confirmed with a director at your consultation.
What if I cannot fit everything into one trip?
