Planning your treatment trip to Seoul

A calm, well-paced trip makes treatment easier on your skin and on you. This step-by-step guide covers what to do before you fly, on consultation day and before you head home.

Step 1: Before you book flights

Start with a conversation rather than a booking. Message us on WhatsApp in English with what you would like to improve, a few clear photos taken in daylight without make-up or filters, any treatments you have had recently and your likely travel dates. The team will suggest which options may suit you, how much time they usually need and whether a short or longer stay makes more sense. Ask us on WhatsApp for a personalised quote at the same time.

Things worth mentioning up front:

  • Any medicines you take, allergies or skin conditions
  • Recent filler, Botox, lasers or peels, and when you had them
  • Important events after your trip, such as a wedding or work photos
  • Whether you would like to come with a friend or partner

Step 2: Choose where to stay and how to arrive

The clinic is in Pagoda Tower, 93 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu, about 5 minutes on foot from Jonggak (Line 1), Jongno 3-ga (Lines 1, 3 and 5) and Euljiro 1-ga (Line 2). Myeongdong is a short walk south via Euljiro 1-ga, so many visitors stay there. From Incheon Airport, take AREX to Seoul Station, then Line 1 two stops to Jonggak. From Gimpo Airport, Line 5 runs direct to Jongno 3-ga. See our where to stay and Incheon Airport guides for more detail.

Step 3: Consultation day

Try to schedule your consultation early in your trip. On the day:

  1. Arrive with clean skin if you can, and bring a list of any products you use.
  2. Skin analysis. Mark-Vu imaging maps pores, pigment, wrinkles, redness and oil–moisture balance.
  3. Meet a director. A director sees you from the first consultation, examines your skin and explains which of the eight skin layers your concern starts in.
  4. Agree the plan. The treatments, timing and cost are confirmed with you before anything begins.
  5. Treatment, if suitable. Many treatments can follow the same day, with barrier reinforcement before and barrier protection afterwards.

There is time to relax in our Café Obliv Ansik lounge if you are waiting between steps.

Step 4: The days after treatment

What you can do after treatment depends on what you had. After filler or threads, avoid touching the area for 4–6 hours and skip sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise that day. After laser, protect your skin carefully with SPF50 or higher and avoid long hours in strong sun. Energy lifting usually leaves only a pulling sensation, so sightseeing is often fine. Keep the first evening quiet and plan gentle activities — museums, cafes and walks along Cheonggyecheon stream — rather than spa days or heavy drinking.

Step 5: A check before you leave

If your schedule allows, book a short follow-up before you fly. It is a chance to ask questions, review how your skin is settling and collect your prescribed pH-5.5-matched home care. Your treatment details are kept in your Skin Library, so future visits can build on this one.

Step 6: Flying home and afterwards

Read our guides on aftercare before flying and follow-up from abroad . Keep using your home care and sunscreen, and message the team on WhatsApp if anything concerns you once you are home. Remember that many results, especially from lifting and collagen treatments, continue to develop over the following months, and results vary from person to person.

A sample outline

  • Day 1: Arrive, settle in, short walk around the area.
  • Day 2: Consultation, skin analysis and treatment.
  • Days 3–4: Gentle sightseeing, sun protection, early nights.
  • Final days: Optional check, home care collected, fly home.

This is only an example. The doctor may recommend a different pace for your skin.

Questions about planning your trip

  • How far ahead should I contact the clinic?

As early as you can, ideally before you book flights. That gives the team time to understand your goals, suggest realistic timing and hold an appointment that fits your schedule.

  • Can I go sightseeing after treatment?

Often yes, but it depends on the treatment. Energy lifting and gentle toning usually allow normal activity, while after laser you need careful sun protection and after injectables you should avoid sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise that day.

  • What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring your passport, a list of medicines and skincare you use, and details of any recent treatments. A hat and sunscreen are useful if you are having laser.

  • Can I start a plan in Seoul and continue later?

Yes. Many people begin with one session and continue on later trips. Every treatment is recorded in your Skin Library so the next visit builds on the last.
