A skin clinic by Cheonggyecheon

Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin is on Cheonggyecheon-ro, the road that follows Seoul's restored stream — an easy stop on a walk through the city centre, between Jongno and Myeongdong.

Where the clinic is along Cheonggyecheon

Cheonggyecheon is the stream that runs through central Seoul, lined with walking paths, bridges and seasonal events. It is one of the city's favourite places for an evening stroll, and it links many of the neighbourhoods visitors stay in. Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin is in Pagoda Tower at 93 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu — on the road that follows the stream, close to the Samilgyo bridge area.

Jongno lies just to the north, Euljiro and Myeongdong to the south, which makes the clinic convenient whichever side of the stream you are coming from.

How to get here

  • Walking along the stream: follow Cheonggyecheon to the Jongno 2-ga · Samilgyo area and look for Pagoda Tower on Cheonggyecheon-ro.
  • Subway: Jonggak (Line 1), Euljiro 1-ga (Line 2), Jongno 3-ga (Lines 1, 3 and 5) and Euljiro 3-ga (Lines 2 and 3) are each about 5 minutes on foot.
  • Bus: the Jongno 2-ga · Samilgyo stop is about a minute away, served by routes such as 5000, 5005, G8110, 470, 501, 701, 741 and N37.

Why visitors choose Obliv

A walk along Cheonggyecheon is a calm part of a busy trip, and we aim for the same feeling inside the clinic. Our approach is built around careful diagnosis rather than quick sales:

  • A director from the first consultation. You are seen by one of our directors, who plans your treatment with you.
  • 8-layer Skin Architecture. We look at which layer a concern begins in — epidermis, upper, full-thickness or lower dermis, fat, fascia, muscle or bone — then decide depth, then device.
  • Skin analysis. Mark-Vu imaging can help analyse pores, pigment, wrinkles, redness and oil–moisture balance.
  • Barrier-first care. We reinforce the barrier before main treatments and protect it afterwards, with prescribed pH-5.5-matched home care.
  • A place to pause. Café Obliv Ansik, our lounge, is somewhere to relax before or after treatment.

Popular treatments for short stays

Visitors who walk over from nearby hotels often look for results without much downtime. Options the doctor may discuss include:

After laser, sunscreen of SPF50+ matters — the stream paths are open to the sky, so bring a hat for walks after treatment. After injectables, avoid touching the area for 4–6 hours and skip the sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise that day.

Opening hours and booking

The skin, body and scalp clinics are open Monday to Friday 10:00–21:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10:00–19:00, which makes an evening appointment followed by a walk by the stream easy to arrange. Message us on WhatsApp in English to book, and ask us for a personalised quote.

Fitting a treatment into a day by the stream

Many visitors find it easiest to plan the appointment around a walk rather than squeeze it between sights. A simple shape for the day might look like this:

  • Before: arrive with clean skin if you can, and leave a little time to settle in Café Obliv Ansik before your consultation.
  • At the clinic: your skin is assessed first, often with Mark-Vu imaging , and the director explains which layer the plan targets before anything is done.
  • Afterwards: if you had a laser or energy-based treatment, keep to shaded stretches of the stream path and reapply sunscreen; after injectables, a gentle walk is fine but skip the sauna and alcohol that evening.

If you are only in Seoul for a few days, tell us your flight date when you message us. The doctor can then suggest options whose downtime fits your schedule — our guide to downtime and travel explains how we think about timing. How your skin responds varies from person to person, so we keep the first visit flexible.
