A dermatology clinic near Myeongdong
If you are staying or shopping in Myeongdong, Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin is a short walk north via Euljiro 1-ga — close enough to fit a consultation or treatment between plans.
Where the clinic is from Myeongdong
Myeongdong is one of the most popular bases for visitors to Seoul, with hotels, guesthouses, skincare shops and street food all packed into a few busy blocks. Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin sits just to the north, in Pagoda Tower at 93 Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu. From Myeongdong, head north towards Euljiro 1-ga and continue on towards Cheonggyecheon Stream — it is a short walk, and many guests simply stroll over from their hotel.
The building is about 5 minutes on foot from Euljiro 1-ga station (Line 2) and Jonggak station (Line 1), so it is just as easy to reach by subway if you are coming back from elsewhere in the city.
How to get here
- On foot: walk north from Myeongdong through the Euljiro 1-ga area towards Cheonggyecheon-ro. The clinic is in Pagoda Tower.
- By subway: Euljiro 1-ga (Line 2) is the most convenient station from the Myeongdong side, about 5 minutes on foot from the clinic.
- By bus: the Jongno 2-ga · Samilgyo stop is about a minute from the building, served by routes including 470, 501, 701 and 741.
- From the airport: from Incheon, take AREX to Seoul Station, then Line 1 two stops to Jonggak. See Getting Here from Incheon Airport .
Why Myeongdong visitors choose Obliv
Myeongdong is full of beauty shops, but a skin clinic visit is different: it should start with a medical diagnosis, not a product. At Obliv a director sees you from the first consultation. We use an 8-layer Skin Architecture model — from the epidermis down through the dermis, fat, fascia and muscle to bone — to find where a concern begins, then choose the depth and only then the device.
- Diagnosis with imaging. Mark-Vu skin analysis can help show pores, pigment, wrinkles, redness and oil–moisture balance.
- Barrier first. We reinforce the skin barrier with ceramides and hyaluronic acid before main treatments and protect it afterwards.
- Records that travel with you. Each treatment is saved in your Skin Library, which helps if you return on a future trip.
- English booking. Message us on WhatsApp in English before or during your stay.
Popular treatments for a short Myeongdong stay
Visitors staying a few nights often prefer treatments with little visible downtime. Common choices include:
- Pico Toning and Nobleen laser toning for pigment and uneven tone, usually with minimal downtime.
- Skin boosters and Rejuran to support hydration and skin regeneration.
- Botox , which starts working in about 3–7 days and peaks at around two weeks.
- Energy lifting such as Ultherapy PRIME or Thermage ; a pulling sensation is common right after, with changes developing over 1–6 months.
Treatments with longer recovery, such as CO2 resurfacing, are better planned for the beginning of a longer stay. The doctor will advise what suits your skin and schedule.
Fitting a visit into your day
The skin, body and scalp clinics are open Monday to Friday 10:00–21:00 and on Saturday and Sunday 10:00–19:00. Many Myeongdong guests come in the evening after a day out, then walk back to their hotel. On the day of injectables, avoid touching the area for 4–6 hours and skip the sauna, alcohol and strenuous exercise. After laser, wear SPF50+ — useful to remember on sunny shopping days.

Buying skincare in Myeongdong after a treatment
Myeongdong's cosmetics shops are tempting, but freshly treated skin needs a simpler routine for a while. A few points to keep in mind:
- Ask before you buy. After laser or energy treatments, the doctor may advise pausing exfoliating acids, retinoids and strong brightening serums for a period. Check which ingredients to avoid before you shop.
- Prioritise the basics. A gentle cleanser, a barrier-supporting moisturiser and SPF50+ sunscreen matter more than new actives in the first days.
- Use what you are prescribed. If you receive prescribed home care , it is matched to pH 5.5 and to your treatment, so use it as directed.
