CUREJET in Seoul
CUREJET is an epidermal-layer treatment used at Obliv Clinic for texture and scar care. A doctor assesses your skin first and explains the details at consultation.
What CUREJET is
CUREJET is part of Obliv Clinic’s range of treatments for concerns that begin at the skin surface. It is an epidermal-layer treatment used for texture and scar care: refining rough or uneven areas and supporting the appearance of shallow marks. It is not designed to lift, tighten deeper layers or add volume.
Treatment details — how CUREJET is delivered, which settings are used, and how many sessions make sense — depend on your skin, so your doctor explains them in person rather than relying on a generic description. At consultation they will also compare CUREJET with related options such as MCT , NeoGen plasma and Mirajet , so you understand why one approach is recommended over another.
Which layer it targets and who it suits
Our doctors work with an 8-layer Skin Architecture model: epidermis, upper dermis, full-thickness dermis, lower dermis, subcutaneous fat, fascia, muscle and bone. Each plan starts by identifying where a concern begins and choosing the right depth before choosing a device. CUREJET works at the epidermis, which makes it relevant for surface-level texture and scar concerns.
CUREJET may be considered if you have:
- Uneven, rough or dull-looking skin texture
- Shallow scars or marks left after breakouts
- Surface irregularities that make make-up sit unevenly
For deeper scars or textural changes that start in the dermis, the doctor will usually recommend a deeper-acting treatment such as Potenza RF microneedling or CO2 laser resurfacing , sometimes combined with a surface treatment. See also post-acne marks .
How the consultation works
A director sees you from your first visit. They examine your skin and may use Mark-Vu imaging to analyse pores, pigment, wrinkles, redness and oil–moisture balance. If you have active acne or inflammation, the doctor examines and addresses that first, because treating texture on inflamed skin is rarely the best order. Your findings and plan are saved in your Skin Library, our digital record of every treatment.
Barrier care before and after
We prepare the skin barrier with ceramides and HA before main treatments and protect it afterwards. You will leave with pH-5.5-matched prescribed home care, and we recommend daily SPF50+ while your skin renews — especially important if you are sightseeing in Seoul.
Sessions, downtime and results
Skin turns over roughly every 28 days, so surface renewal treatments usually work best as a series. Your doctor will suggest how many sessions and the right interval. What you notice afterwards depends on the settings used, and you will be told what to expect before starting. Results vary from person to person.
Often combined with
CUREJET may be planned as part of our Acne Scar Program with deeper treatments, or alongside skin boosters and exosome therapy to support skin quality and recovery.
Is it right for me?
If your concern is mainly sagging, volume loss or deep scarring, a surface treatment alone will not be enough, and the doctor will say so. Please mention any history of pigment changes after treatment, recent sun exposure, skin conditions or medication at consultation.
For international visitors
If you are visiting for a short time, let the team know your dates when booking so the doctor can suggest what is realistic during your stay and what to continue on a later visit. The clinic is about 5 minutes on foot from Jonggak and Euljiro 1-ga stations, close to Myeongdong, and you can plan everything in English on WhatsApp.
Preparing for your appointment
- Avoid strong exfoliants, peels and retinoid products in the days before, unless your doctor says otherwise
- Protect your skin from strong sun beforehand; recently tanned skin may need to settle first
- Mention any cold sores, recent treatments or skin reactions you have had in the past
- Arrive without heavy make-up if you can, so the doctor can see your texture clearly
Bringing photos of how your skin looked at its best or worst can also help the conversation. If you are unsure whether your concern is surface texture or a deeper scar, our page on rough skin texture gives useful background.
