Footcare & Nail Clinic in Seoul
Feet carry you through every day of a Seoul trip. Our Footcare & Nail Clinic on the 5th floor offers doctor-led assessment and care for foot skin and nail concerns.
What the Footcare & Nail Clinic is
Obliv Clinic Seoul Origin has a dedicated Footcare & Nail Clinic on the 5th floor of Pagoda Tower. It focuses on the skin of the feet and on fingernails and toenails — areas that are often overlooked in skincare but can cause real discomfort or self-consciousness. Having a separate floor means foot and nail concerns get their own space and attention, while still being part of the same medical clinic as our skin, scalp and body services.
Care here is doctor-led. A doctor assesses your concern first and recommends what is appropriate, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all service. Specific treatments are explained at consultation.
Concerns people often bring
- Thickened, discoloured or brittle nails
- Nails that are uncomfortable, curved or pressing into the skin
- Hard, dry or cracked skin on the heels and soles
- Rough or callused areas that cause discomfort when walking
- Feet that simply need professional attention after a lot of walking or sport
Why a doctor assesses first
Changes in the nails and foot skin can have many causes — pressure from footwear, dryness, infection, injury or underlying health conditions. Some look similar but need very different care. That is why a doctor examines the area and asks about your health history, footwear and symptoms before recommending anything. If a concern needs further medical evaluation, for example because of diabetes, circulation problems or something that looks unusual, the doctor will explain this and advise on next steps.
How we approach foot and nail care
The same principles that guide our skin clinic apply here: understand the cause, protect the skin's barrier and choose care that suits the individual. Foot skin is thicker than facial skin and under constant pressure, so it needs its own approach. Plans may involve in-clinic care chosen by the doctor, plus practical guidance on footwear, nail trimming and moisturising so that improvements last.
What happens at your visit
You will be welcomed on the 5th floor and meet a doctor for an assessment. You can describe how long the concern has been present, any pain and anything you have tried. The doctor examines the area, explains what they think is going on and discusses options. If in-clinic care is appropriate, it may begin the same day. Your notes are kept in your record so later visits can build on the first.
Results and aftercare
Nails grow slowly, so improvements in nail appearance are usually gradual and assessed over months. Skin on the feet may feel more comfortable sooner. Results vary from person to person and depend on the cause, as well as on home care and footwear. The doctor will give you realistic expectations and a simple routine to follow.
Caring for your feet at home
- Wash and dry feet thoroughly, especially between the toes
- Moisturise heels and soles daily, avoiding between the toes
- Trim nails straight across and not too short
- Choose well-fitting, breathable shoes — important on a walking-heavy trip
- Do not cut or shave hard skin yourself if it is painful; ask the doctor
For international visitors
The Footcare & Nail Clinic is open Monday to Friday 09:30–20:00 and Saturday 09:30–19:00. As it is in the same building as our Skin & Body and Scalp Clinics, you can combine visits. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and a short description of your concern, and ask for a personalised quote.
Preparing for your appointment
- Avoid applying nail polish before your visit so the doctor can see the nails clearly
- Wear or bring the shoes you walk in most — they can help explain pressure points
- Note when the concern started and whether it is painful, itchy or changing
- Mention any medical conditions such as diabetes or circulation problems, and medicines you take
Morning appointments from 09:30 can suit visitors who want to see the clinic before a day of sightseeing. If you are also booking a BodyLab assessment for posture or walking discomfort, see BodyLab rehabilitation medicine — it is in the same building.

Questions about footcare and nails
Is this a beauty pedicure service?
No. The Footcare & Nail Clinic is part of a medical clinic, and care begins with a doctor's assessment. The focus is on understanding and improving foot skin and nail concerns rather than cosmetic polish.
Is the clinic open on weekends?
It is open Saturday 09:30–19:00 as well as Monday to Friday 09:30–20:00. It is closed on Sundays, so plan weekend visits for Saturday.
How long until my nails look better?
Nails grow slowly, so changes in their appearance are usually gradual and judged over months. The doctor will explain what to expect for your specific concern.
I have diabetes. Can I still visit?
Yes, but please tell the doctor at the start. Foot concerns in people with diabetes or circulation problems may need extra care or further medical evaluation, and the doctor will advise accordingly.
