What anti-ageing means in your 30s
For many people, the 30s are when the mirror starts to change in small ways. Fine lines around the eyes linger after a smile, the skin looks less bouncy at the end of the day, pores on the cheeks become more noticeable, and pigment from earlier sun exposure becomes more visible. Some people notice the very first softening along the jawline or a slightly deeper fold between nose and mouth.
By this stage, collagen has been falling by roughly 1% a year for a decade or more, and UV exposure adds to the loss. The aim in your 30s is maintenance: keeping collagen production active, protecting skin quality, and dealing with early changes while they are still easy to address.
Which layers are involved
Our 8-layer Skin Architecture model helps us see where these early changes start:
- Epidermis: pigment, surface texture and the barrier, which can be strained by stress, sleep and travel.
- Upper and full-thickness dermis: collagen and elasticity. This is where fine lines and early laxity begin.
- Muscle: repeated expressions start to leave lines that remain at rest, especially on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes.
- Deeper layers: in some faces, the first signs of fat descent or volume loss begin to appear.
A director examines your face, and Mark-Vu imaging analyses pigment, wrinkles, pores, redness and oil–moisture balance, so the plan targets your actual changes.
Building a plan
A typical 30s plan combines two or three programmes at a moderate level:
- Collagen Boost. Collagen stimulators such as PCL or PLLA encourage your own collagen; results begin at 1–3 months, peak at 3–6 and can last around 12–24 months. Rejuran and skin boosters support regeneration and hydration.
- Light energy tightening. RF devices such as Sofwave or ALLTITE work on the upper dermis for firmness and texture. Where early laxity is present, Thermage tightens the whole dermis.
- Expression lines. Botox can soften forehead, frown and crow's-feet lines, working within 3–7 days and lasting about 4–6 months.
- Tone and texture. Pigment can be addressed with laser toning, and pores or acne scars with Potenza .
Everything starts with the barrier: we reinforce it before main treatments and protect it afterwards.
Timeline before a trip or event
Botox reaches its peak around two weeks after treatment. RF tightening gives some immediate firmness, with changes building over 1–3 months. Collagen stimulators are gradual and best started three to six months ahead of an important date. If you are visiting Seoul for a short stay, Botox, a skin booster and one energy treatment can often be combined in a single visit, with little downtime.
Keeping your results
- RF results typically last around 6–12 months; collagen stimulators around 12–24 months; Botox about 4–6 months.
- A yearly plan with small, regular sessions usually works better than occasional large ones.
- Daily SPF50+ and pH-5.5-matched home care protect the collagen you are building.
Results vary from person to person. Your Skin Library record keeps every treatment on file, so each year's plan builds on the last.
A sample year of maintenance
Maintenance in your 30s works best as a steady rhythm rather than occasional big sessions. The exact plan depends on your skin, but a year might look something like this:
- Start of the year: consultation and Mark-Vu analysis to set a baseline, followed by barrier reinforcement and a first collagen stimulator or Rejuran session.
- A few months in: a light RF session for firmness and texture, and Botox for expression lines if you use it.
- Mid-year: a progress check against your baseline. Skin boosters or toning can be added if hydration or tone needs attention, particularly after a summer of sun exposure.
- Later in the year: top-up Botox as it wears off, and review whether the collagen plan needs another session.
This kind of schedule keeps each visit small and easy to fit into a busy life. If you only visit Seoul once or twice a year, we can condense the plan into those trips; see our skin maintenance plan and combining treatments pages.

Questions about anti-ageing in your 30s
What is the most useful treatment to start with in my 30s?
It depends on what you are noticing. For general skin quality, collagen stimulators or skin boosters are common starting points; for expression lines, Botox; for early laxity, RF tightening. A consultation helps prioritise.
Is Ultherapy too much for my 30s?
HIFU such as Ultherapy is aimed at deeper sagging, so many people in their 30s do not need it yet. Some with early jawline softening may benefit. Your doctor will advise based on your face.
Can I combine several treatments in one visit?
Often, yes. Energy treatments are commonly combined with collagen stimulators or Botox, but the order and spacing depend on your skin. The doctor will confirm what is suitable on the day.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your plan and the number of sessions. Ask us on WhatsApp for a personalised quote.
